Ava, Big Sis
Ava is a student and aspiring teacher. She used her experience in art, graphic design, photography, and brand strategy to launch her creative business, A Pastel Petal, in 2018. Although she is a well-rounded artist, her favorite medium is watercolor. She especially loves painting floral designs. She picked up a calligraphy pen for the first time as a young third-grader and continues to do lettering today. Ava sights her faith in Jesus Christ as one of her biggest inspirations. When she’s not painting, she enjoys taking long walks in the park, spending time in her garden, or reading a historical book with a cup of coffee!
Anna, Lil Sis
Anna is a student and has aspirations to work in the business field. She joined Ava, her older sister, during the summer of 2020 becoming the co-owner of A Pastel Petal. Working on the marketing side of the business, she’s always looking for new techniques and methods. Prior to joining the A Pastel Petal team, Anna’s medium of focus was sculpting. She now enjoys painting, especially with watercolor and acrylic. Anna has always thought outside of the box. As a kid she would never follow craft kit instructions, instead, making her own creations! Anna is driven by her faith in Jesus Christ, which plays a huge role in inspiring her artwork. You can always find her with a cup of matcha tea in hand!
