Hey Friend, welcome back! Join me as I paint some watercolor roses.

Things to remember:

  • Don’t overdo it with the water. If you plan to do the wet on wet method, make sure you have yourself some THICK watercolor paper.

  • LAYER. Watercolor is usually very light (almost translucent.) Have a paper towel on hand to soften the color.

  • For roses, I like to start with the deeper tones in the center, getting lighter as I get to the edge petals.

  • Have Fun! Summon your inner artist!
